Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of The Woven Realms website at woven-realms.kcwlabs.xyz, operated by KCW Labs. By entering or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Adults only
The Woven Realms is intended only for people who are 18 years of age or older. By selecting the age-confirmation button and entering the site, you represent that you are at least 18. The site uses a first-party age-confirmation cookie that remembers that choice for 24 hours. The cookie does not collect your birth date, government identification, or legal identity.
You may not knowingly allow a person under 18 to use your age-confirmed browser session to access the site.
2. Mature fictional content
The Woven Realms is a fictional urban-fantasy setting. The site does not host pornographic imagery, but written lore, character profiles, fictional services, reviews, and linked character experiences may contain or reference mature subject matter. This can include fictional violence, threats, injury or death, crime, adult relationships, sexual themes, and references to kink or BDSM clubs, practices, or dynamics.
Mature themes may not receive a separate content warning on every page. Fictional depictions are not endorsements of real-world conduct. Use your own judgment when choosing what to read or follow.
3. Lawful and respectful use
You may use the site for lawful personal, creative, and informational purposes. You may not attempt to compromise the site, bypass access controls, interfere with other visitors, submit malicious code, automate abusive requests, impersonate another person, publish another person’s private information, or use site features for harassment, threats, unlawful activity, or spam.
4. Reviews and other public submissions
Reviews are public submissions. If you submit a review, the display name you choose, rating, review text, character or listing being reviewed, and submission date may be stored and displayed publicly. Do not include private contact details, legal names you do not want published, passwords, financial information, health information, government identifiers, or another person’s confidential information.
By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and grant KCW Labs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format, moderate, and distribute that submission as reasonably necessary to operate and promote The Woven Realms. You keep any rights you otherwise hold in your original submission. KCW Labs may hide, edit for technical formatting, or remove submissions that violate these Terms or threaten the safety or integrity of the site.
5. Adoptables
Adoptables are fictional character concepts. Claiming an adoptable marks the listing as adopted on The Woven Realms and may provide the associated character image for download. A claim does not create a purchase, employment relationship, partnership, or transfer of intellectual-property rights beyond any rights expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
If you provide an optional profile or creator link while claiming an adoptable, you confirm that you have the right to provide that link and understand that it may be stored with the adoption record.
6. Site content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, The Woven Realms name, original lore, site copy, site design, original graphics, character materials, and other original project content are owned by KCW Labs or the applicable creator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Creator Assets may carry their own stated usage terms. Nothing in these Terms grants rights beyond the permissions expressly provided with a specific asset or in a separate written agreement.
7. Third-party websites and character platforms
The site may link to third-party websites, character platforms, social services, downloads, or other external resources. Those services are controlled by their own operators and have their own terms, privacy rules, age restrictions, and content standards. KCW Labs does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or privacy practices.
8. Availability and changes
The Woven Realms is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Lore, features, links, listings, character profiles, downloads, and site functionality may be corrected, changed, suspended, or removed at any time. KCW Labs does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every page will remain unchanged.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KCW Labs disclaims implied warranties relating to the site, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KCW Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the site or third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction.
10. Privacy and cookies
Personal data and device storage are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Optional Google Analytics does not intentionally load until you consent to analytics.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law in your place of residence provides rights that cannot be waived by contract.
12. Changes to these Terms
KCW Labs may update these Terms when site features, legal requirements, or project practices change. The effective date at the top will be updated when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply to later use of the site.
