This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar storage used by The Woven Realms at woven-realms.kcwlabs.xyz. The site separates strictly necessary storage from optional analytics. Optional Google Analytics does not intentionally load until you choose to allow analytics.
1. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are first-party. The age-confirmation cookie and server-session cookie are marked HttpOnly so ordinary page scripts cannot read them. Server-managed cookies use SameSite=Lax and are marked Secure when the site is served over HTTPS.
2. Optional analytics cookies
If you choose “Allow analytics,” Google Analytics may create first-party analytics cookies including:

The Woven Realms configures analytics cookies not to refresh their expiration on every page load and disables Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals. Analytics remains optional.
3. Consent and changing your choice
When the cookie banner first appears, you can allow analytics, use essential storage only, or open Cookie Preferences. Refusing analytics does not block access to The Woven Realms. You can change your choice later from the Cookie Preferences control in the footer.
If you withdraw analytics consent, the site disables further Google Analytics collection for the configured property in the current browser context and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies created for the site. Data lawfully collected before withdrawal may remain subject to applicable retention rules.
4. Other device storage and network requests
The current public site does not rely on browser localStorage for analytics consent. Standard web requests still transmit technical information such as IP address and browser headers to the site’s hosting infrastructure. Font Awesome files are delivered through cdnjs, a Cloudflare service, so Cloudflare may receive ordinary network request information when those files load. This is not treated by The Woven Realms as optional analytics storage.
5. Browser controls
You can also delete or block cookies using your browser settings. If you delete the age-confirmation cookie, the 18+ gate will appear again. If you delete the cookie-preference record, the analytics choice banner will appear again. Blocking strictly necessary session cookies may prevent features that require a temporary server session from working correctly.
